Gothic Post Punks Black Doldrums Announce 2023 UK & EU Tour
London trio announce Spring live shows spanning March and May
Gothic post punk trio Black Doldrums have announced a twenty date UK and EU tour for next Spring (see below for details).
The London based group comprising Kevin Gibbard, vocals / guitar, Sophie Landers, drums / vocals and Matt Holt bass, issued their acclaimed debut LP Dead Awake this March. An outfit who clock up an impressive number of live shows each year, the trio toured in support of the album over Spring and Summer (live review).
Produced by Jared Artaud, lead singer / guitarist of The Vacant Lots and labelmates on Fuzz Club records, (A Place To Bury Strangers, The Black Angels), Dead Awake saw Black Doldrums supplement their psych rock approach with inspiration from post punk era The Cure and 1990s Depeche Mode.
