SPOTIFY Hurling ourselves headlong into the middle of April, and a stunted week (excitingly, the first of a few!) we come armed with a generous helping of the Good the Rad and the Lovely.

Sample the delights of the troublesome collective that was The Brian Jonestown Massacre with 'When Jokers Attack', a wee bit of Subsource for added beats, and the stealthily rising Fee The Rhino, a high energy mix that will surely keep you suitably upbeat for the Monday crawl. Should this leave you feeling a little giddy, we have the genius oddities that are Ellen Alllien's 'Retina', Deerhoof with 'Heart Failure' and Bella Union's latest singing Cashier No. 9's 'I Kid You Not'.

Chilling you further, you may enjoy the calming influences that are Rosie Doonan, new single from Alessi's Ark and the effortlessly slick Mice Parade. We've also thrown in a fantastic number 'Dollyanna' from London rapper Jimmy Screech (just because its damn cool) and a lesser known curve-ball from the notorious DJ Scotch Egg, who's baffling arrangements formulate from retro console samples and a keen sense of humour.

With a couple of other treasures hidden amongst this glorious celebration of the Independent, take some time to fill your boots with muchos goodness
