SPILT Merseyside noise pop outfit SPILT make an explosive return with new track No Mans War, recorded live during the recent Covid restrictions.

Reviving their DIY Funk Bunker concept that sees the band playing live in their rehearsal room filmed by friends, the cut is the first fruits of a full live set from the Runcorn group due to be premiered soon.

Showcasing the trio’s heavier side, No Mans War is a blistering two minute sliver of alt. rock that includes a lyrical references Gil Scott Heron’s groundbreaking 1971 proto hip-hop track The Revolution Will Not Be Televised.

The Funk Bunker session follows SPILT'S appearance at the second Liverpool Digital Music Festival held over the August Band Holiday which saw dozens of artists taking part in the live streamed festival at venues across the city in support of local charities.

Maintaining a prolific release rate, the trio comprising Mo Molyneux, vocals, guitar, Ronnie Ayers, bass guitar and Josh Cunningham, drums issued their acclaimed debut LP No Ball Games last September.
