Ascendant Dream Pop Outfit deary Release New Single Beauty In All Blue Satin

Rising London-based dreampop duo deary have unveiled their second single, swirling new track Beauty in all Blue Satin.

The follow up to Fairground which currently sits at Number One on the Official UK Vinyl Singles Chart, the cut is a darker affair than its predecessor.

Guitarist Ben, describing the track musically as “Stripped down to the bare bones, it’s essentially a lament” is paired with singer Dottie’s dark lyrics, “A vision equally glamorous and dirty; a Great Gatsby-esque party, with the prettiest satin and pearls hiding a wealth of secrets.” Backed with a clip by psychedelic video director Chris Tomsett of Innerstrings, the track is available on all digital platforms now.

Beauty in all Blue Satin is being issued as a strictly limited edition cassette single on sale exclusively from the Sonic Cathedral stall at the Independent Label Market, London which runs on Saturday 20th May. Deary are set to play at the event, taking to the Live Stage at 1:30pm to play a stripped down set.



Looking ahead the band have two shows lined up in September including at Nottingham Rough Trade supporting fellow shoegazers Flyying Colours.
