SeaWitches Release Sci-Fi Themed Video For Stunning New Single Absolve

Liverpool post-punks SeaWitches make a welcome return with the hypnotic groove of Absolve, their first new material in over 12 months.

The follow up to feverish double A-side Skylight / Tempest, the new cut rolls along at a slower pace before building to a cathartic vocal crescendo by frontwoman Jo Herring.

Continuing the band’s fondness for enigmatic videos, the track comes backed with a clip that features footage Soviet-era sci-fi classic Per Aspera Ad Astra (Through the Thorns to the Stars) (1981).

The lead single from a forthcoming five track EP, the as yet untitled new set was produced by David Berger, drummer and co-producer for fellow Merseysiders Outfit.
