Rising Liverpool alt. rock outfit to play a string of UK dates

The Mysterines Continuing their ascent as the new year gets underway, Liverpool alt. rock trio The Mysterines have announced details of their February headline tour (see below for dates and ticket link)

Following hot on the heels of a score of sold out headline live dates in 2019 and support stints with Royal Blood, Sea Girls and Amazons, the three-piece kick off a run of eight dates next month.

Kicking off on the 19th in Nottingham, the eight shows include a hometown show at the Arts Club, Liverpool and a London date at The Dome that was upgraded following ticket demand.

Comprising of 19 year-old Lia Metcalfe (vocals/guitar), 18 year-old George Favager (bass) and 22 year-old Chrissy Moore (drums), incendiary single Who’s Ur Girl issued in November scooped the support of BBC Radio 1 and 6 Music.

Last month saw the trio take part in Paul Weller's newly minted Black Barn Sessions which sees The Modfather invite a clutch of artists to record a session at his home studio. In addition to playing recent single Gasoline, lead singer Lia Metcalfe shared vocals in a cover of Dr. John classic I Walk On Gilded Splinters, a long-standing Weller live favourite.
