Storied Noise Rockers Slow Down Molasses Announce UK Tour Dates Canadian noise rock quartet Slow Down Molasses have announced details of their UK tour, due to kick off in early May (see below for dates).

Making their return last October with new LP Minor Deaths, the disc was the first major release by the band in five years.

Setting the scene for their fifth album, the disc was trailed by sixty second punk blast Son of Titanic and Sonic Youth-esque noise rock cut I Need The Darkness.

Slow Down Molasses gave a glimpse of their current live set with recently issued showcase The Vator Sessions. Shot in their hometown of Saskatoon, the series films groups live in the unique setting of an old grain elevator.

Discussing the video, the group said, “The grain elevator is a symbol of agricultural heritage across the Canadian prairies. As times changed, most sat idle and empty. Vator Sessions brings one elevator back to life by showcasing the vibrant Saskatchewan music scene”.
