Taffy Acclaimed Japanese indie-pop / shoegazing outfit Taffy make an excellent return with reverb-drenched new single She&She.

“She&She is a song about being loved very much but you know somewhere in your heart that it could fall apart easily” lead singer Iris says of the new single. “When you’re good at being loved, whether intentionally or unintentionally, you also know there comes a time that it falls apart. When you stop being the person they imagine you are.”

The follow up to the band's 2017 LP Nyctophilia, She&She is the first fruits of the band’s forthcoming fifth LP Deep Dark Creep Love, due for release on July 5th through venerated shoegaze /psych record label Club AC30, (Pinkshinyultrablast, Flyying Colours, Black Doldrums and Is Bliss).

Now expanded to a quartet with the recent addition of guitarist Nao, the band’s melodic take on noise-pop draws from classic indie jangle pop along with Blur, Lush and The Breeders. The London based outfit have announced a string of UK dates for July, kicking off at Club AC30s night at The Victoria, Dalston, London on July 4th (see below for dates).
