Saint Agnes Announce Debut LP Welcome to Silvertown

Rising London gothic garage rock quartet Saint Agnes have unveiled details of their debut LP Welcome to Silvertown and released the title track to streaming services, listen here

Due for release on May 3rd through the band’s own label Death Or Glory Gang Records, Welcome to Silvertown is self-produced and engineered by Luke Oldfield (The Wytches, Uncle Acid & The Deadbeats).

Featured as a location shoot for the group’s Diablo, Take Me Home video issued last September, the album takes its title from the area of London that experienced a massive explosion in a munitions factory in during WWI.

Speaking of the upcoming LP, the group stated, “With the album, we wanted to transform everyday mundane events into moments of high drama in an attempt to better understand our own stories. We wanted to magnify and illuminate certain aspects of ourselves in order to see a little more clearly, and we wanted to create narratives that people could connect with and recognise as their own battles, their own feelings.”.

Comprising Kitty Austen (Vocals/Guitar/Keys), Jon James Tufnell (Vocals/Guitar), Ben Chernett (Bass) and Andy Head (Drums), Saint Agnes have been a constant presence on the gig circuit, racking up over 200 shows across the UK and Europe.

The group have announced a raft of festival dates in support of the album (see below for full details) kicking off at Brighton’s Mutation Festival in late February.
