By The Sea Announce Details Of Forthcoming Third Album Heaven Knows Magnolia

Acclaimed dream pop outfit By The Sea have announced details for their highly anticipated new album, Heaven Knows Magnolia.

Due to be unveiled on 21st October, the release is being handled by cult indie label Dell’Orso Records, who issued the group's 2012 eponymous debut. The third LP by the group, the disc is the Wirral band’s first album since 2014s warmly received Endless Days, Crystal Skies.

Lead single to the LP, Harry & Stevie, accompanied by an evocative monochrome video has been issued ahead of a physical 7” single, due for release on September 9th.

The single comes backed with non-album B side There Are Other Forces, inspired by a collaboration between lead singer Liam Power and his brother, published poet Nick.



Following a tranche of gigs earlier this year, By the Sea head back out on the road in September (see below for dates), concluding the run with an (almost) hometown show on the Wirral at Future Yard, Birkenhead.
