New Independent Festival WRONG comes to Liverpool in April

New Independent Festival WRONG comes to Liverpool in April Japanese noise rock band Bo Ningen will headline the first edition of WRONG Festival which takes place on Saturday April 22nd in North Liverpool’s Docklands.

The one-day independent event, billed as ‘a festival for the Freakscene’ will take place across three venues, The Invisible Wind Factory, the recently opened North Shore Troubadour and art gallery/live space Drop the Dumbulls.

Beginning in the afternoon with the party continuing into the small hours, over two dozen acts are set to play. Founders and event organisers Liverpool based label Loner Noise have described the festival as bringing together ‘the heavier and weirder corners of rock music, from punk to noise to psychedelia and everywhere in between’.

Joining Bo Ningen will be Brightonian garage rock trio The Wytches, cult noise rock group Part Chimp, Mancunian grunge rock trio False Advertising, Liverpool noise stalwarts Jazzhands plus heavy psych-rockers Bonnacons Of Doom.

Also set to appear are Glaswegian space rock psychonauts The Cosmic Dead, Notts extreme noise rockers HECK, Leeds new wave group Cowtown, Liverpool alt. rock trio Elevant plus SPQR, Gravves, Pocket Apocalypse and Duke Mercury.
