Kiran Leonard Previews New LP Grapefruit With Video For Pink Fruit

Mancunian alt. pop polymath Kiran Leonard has just unveiled the video to Pink Fruit, preparing the ground for his forthcoming second album Grapefruit.

A compelling, off-kilter clip, the visuals match the track, a mixture of angular guitar figures, dream pop interludes and Sufjan Stevens style baroque pop, which crams all of the above into four minutes.

A truncated version of the epic 16 minute original, a firm live favourite, the original full length version of Pink Fruit is currently available as a limited edition one-sided etched 12” vinyl single.

Centerpiece of the forthcoming LP Grapefruit is set for release on March 25th through Moshi Moshi and is the highly anticipated follow up to 2012s acclaimed Bowler Hat Soup.

In support of the LP, the Oldham born multi-instrumentalist is heading out on his biggest tour to date in late March backed by a full band, (see dates below) the dates include a visit to day-long multi venue event Stockton Festival on the 26th and hometown Manchester on the 30th.
