Deeper Cuts Festival Announce Line Up Featuring Headliners Teeth Of the Sea

New Liverpool festival announces eclectic line up for debut event held in mid July

Deeper Cuts Festival Set to make its inaugural appearance, Deeper Cuts Festival launches on Saturday July 13 in Liverpool. Born out of the monthly Deep Cuts new music night held at Jacaranda Phase One, created by Liverpool music blog Getintothis, the upcoming all dayer is set to feature over two dozen acts drawn from across a score of genres.

Held across three locations on Seel Street, venue and record shop Jacaranda Phase One, The Kazimier Garden and new event space Stockroom will play host to the twenty-five strong bill.

Headlining the event is revered psych rock outfit Teeth of the Sea, touring in support of their acclaimed fifth LP Wraith, released in February. Rising prog / psych unit Gum Takes Tooth who issued their lauded LP Arrow in January bring their maximalist percussive noise to Liverpool.

Also set to feature are Glaswegian psych group Helicon, The Dream Machine All-Stars (a collective consisting legendary psychedelia outfit The Telescopes), Mancunian outfit URF and Cardiff group Buzzard, Buzzard, Buzzard.

In addition to the above is a wealth of Merseyside-based talent. Set to appear are thrash metallers Video Nasties, progressive rock outfit RongoRongo, industrial noise-makers LONESAW, newcomer Aimee Steven, dream pop singer Ana Mae, artrock / New Wave artist Douglas Savage, grunge trio SPILT, post-punk warlocks Yammerer, the new beast from Jo Mary/Hannah & The Wick Effect known as STORES, rock ‘n rollers The Gear, The Wire championed LO FIVE plus glitch artists Baron Farg, Bye Louis and Foxen Cyn.

Rounding off proceedings will be the notorious infamous Karaoke Dungeon with their glorious audience-participation led take on alternative classics, dressing up box and party bangers. DJs meanwhile include acclaimed Bristol record label Rocket Recordings and the Kazimier’s own KRUKTHRUST.
