Dead Naked Hippies Leeds alt. rock specialists Dead Naked Hippies continue their run of excellent singles with superb new cut Eyes Wide, produced by Pixies / Royal Blood associate Tom Dalgety.

Piloted by an incredible lead vocal from force of nature front woman Lucy Jowett, the track comes backed with a performance-based clip that uses the band’s red, white and black colour palette.

Lucy said of the track on the band’s website, “Eyes Wide is for the outsiders, the pieces that don’t quite fit the puzzle, those growing up and growing wiser but not by societal norms or expectation, instead blossoming in their own beautiful way. For those making their own shapes, decisions, words and waves in their own time and seeing the world through their own eyes. I’m not the person the child or the teenage me thought I would be, or should be by expectation. No shame. Eyes Wide is a total celebration of it”.

Following a summer of festival dates, the group have announced their biggest UK tour to date, kicking off tomorrow night in Middlesbrough (the 18th). Taking in a single launch in London at The Social next Friday (the 25th), the jaunt concludes in their home town at the Hyde Park Book Club on the 1st of November. See below for full details.
