Party time at Corsica Studios

Corsica Gets Social Sneaker Social Club, the Brighton based label indebted to both bass and footwear, are bringing said social little club all the way to Corsica Studios in London this Jubilee weekend with something of a royal shindig in mind.

Between the hours of 10.00pm Friday June 1st right through till 6.00am the likes of Bristol bass bigwig Appleblim, his Apple Pips understudy Arkist (pictured), Paul Woolford, Purple Drank purveyor Axel Boman, Donga & Blake and Throwing Snow, who’s ethereally tense ‘Shadower / Sanctum’ 12” was Sneaker Social’s debut release, will be on hand to encourage fancy footwork in (hopefully) fancy footwear.

As if this wasn’t enough there is also a Top Secret Guest, simply classified on the promotional artwork with the term “Detroit” to be unveiled… I’m not a hundred percent on who this surprise DJ might be, but I know her Majesty The Queen had links to Detroit house (not to mention the declining American motor industry) in the early nineties, so maybe The Madge herself will be spinning some classics over a few G&T’s!

If not, and I know she’s a busy bird this coming bank holiday, with a label as dedicated to expert curation and design in its physical release you know a Sneaker Social club night will be just as refined. Chin chin!

Get your fanciest kicks on and get over here for tickets.
