Brainwash Festival is Almost Here

Brainwash Festival - which takes place from October 14 - 16 - is now in its sixth year. This year's festival includes America's The Icarus Line, Dananananaykroyd, Maybeshewill, Japan's Lite, Adem, Kong and many more to be announced. Each band mentioned has already made their mark on the UK music scene in a huge way and their live shows are just as exciting.

The festival was born as a three-day-event. Its aim was to utilise the close proximity of the Brudenell Social Club, Royal Park Cellars and similar venues to create a flow of music lovers across the area. The festival has a mix of genres based around the conventional rock, indie and metal styles but also reaching out to folk, jazz and electronica.

Charity wise, the festival has previously raised money for Oxfam and Sheffield Children's Hospital. Those who attend this year get to pick which charity they'd like their money to go to from a choice of three.
