Chester based alt. pop quintet Chemistry Lane have just unveiled the impressive video for their second single ‘Tearing Wings Off A Butterfly’.

The follow up to last year’s debut cut ‘Faustian’, the present track comes backed with a dystopian video that revolves around two Nineteen Eighty-Four type office drones who, like Winston and Julia briefly manage to escape.

Expertly plaiting lead singer’s Simon Jones’ falsetto chorus with the band’s propulsive electronic backdrop, the track prepares the ground for the quintet’s debut LP, due later this year.

Tearing Wings Off A Butterfly is released through Victoria Warehouse Records on March 23rd

Chemistry Lane play live:

Threshold Festival, Liverpool, March 27th
Un Deg Un Arts Space, Wrexham, 2nd May
