Stream: Flyying Colours Return With Glorious New Single Goodtimes Set to make a storming return this summer with new LP Fantasy Country, Aussie shoegazers Flyying Colours have issued glorious new single Goodtimes.

The ethereal, synth embellished cut is the first new material from the Melbourne based outfit since the band’s excellent 2016 debut LP Mindfullness.

Led by the dual vocals of Brodie J Brümmer and Gemma O’Connor, the group tap into the rich seam of classic 1990s shoegaze/psych rock, MBV, Lush, Ride with the introspective lyrics of Goodtimes dovetailing perfectly with their sun-soaked guitar pop.

Singer/guitarist Brümmer says of the track, “the chorus is something I would repeat to myself in my head before a tour or playing a show or going to a show. Sometimes anyone and everyone can find it difficult to leave the house. It’s a reminder to yourself that “You’re gonna have a good time” - don’t be scared to go out, don’t waste your life.”

With support stints alongside notables including The Jesus & Mary Chain, Johnny Marr, Swervedriver and Club AC30 labelmates Pinkshinyultrablast, the group have announced a raft of dates across Australia for this February (see below for details).

New album Fantasy Country is due for release this Summer through Poison City Records Down Under and Club AC30 for UK/EU.
