Sophie Jamieson Announces Debut LP Choosing
Rising London-based singer announces debut LP details and unveils lead single Sink

Produced and engineered by long-time collaborator Steph Marziano (Hayley Williams, Ex:Re, Lapsley) the disc is the singer’s first for storied indie label Bella Union. The successor to acclaimed EPs Hammer and Release, issued in 2020, the LP draws inspiration from songwriters including Sharon Van Etten, Elena Tonra and Scott Hutchison.
Choosing is previewed with lead single Sink, which comes accompanied by cryptic music video directed by Jamieson and independent film maker Rosamund Bullard.
Currently on tour supporting US singer Willy Mason, Jamieson plays St. Pancras Old Church this evening (Thurs 8th Sept) in support to Texan songwriter Jana Horn. Further shows include Brighton And Hove Folk Festival and Mutations Festival also in Brighton, this month and in November respectively.
