Indie Pop Outfit Tallies Announce New Album And UK Tour Dates

Toronto indie pop group Tallies have announced details of their new album Patina and a string of UK dates this month (see below for shows).

Their first major release since their warmly received eponymous debut LP, Patina is due for release on July 29th. Recently signed to Bella Union for the UK, the disc is issued through Kanine Records in the US and Hand Drawn Dracula in Canada.

To flag up the UK tour, the group have issued new single Hearts Underground which comes backed with a video comprised of public domain footage directed by Justis Krar.

Piloted by lead singer Sarah Cogan’s hallmark vocals, the cut combines effervescent jangle pop with an off-kilter lead guitar line. The forthcoming album is produced by Holy Fuck member Graham Walsh who has credits producing METZ and Alvvays alongside Tallies’ guitarist Dylan Frankland.
