Aimée Steven Unveils Visuals For New Single Darling
Liverpool vocalist issues superb video for new single

Released last Friday (May 15th) through Liverpool label Jacaranda Records, the track is Steven’s second release of the year, following Hell Is A Teenage Girl issued for International Women’s Day in March.
A garage rock inspired cut that musically references the swaying grooves of Velvet Underground and The Rolling Stones with elements of Dusty Springfield and Marianne Faithfull vocally, Darling was produced by regular collaborator, Grammy Award winner Jon Withnall.
The video for Darling intercuts scenes of the singer with scenes from the boundary pushing 1965 film of the same name. Starring Sixties icon Julie Christie as a model who experiences a meteoric rise through the fashionable social circles of London, the film simultaneously celebrates and satirizes Swinging London.
Aimées next live streamed show takes place on Sunday (May 24th) as part of Liverpool Digital Music Festival which sees a host of Merseyside luminaries take part in the online event to raise funds for the NHS and the Music Venue Trust’s Save Our Venues campaign.
