The new podcast highlights exciting and interesting independent releases from that week, the first show includes tracks from new releases by Starkey, Paul Hawkins and Malachai.

Gareth Main said of the project: "A few months ago, somebody asked why there wasn’t a ‘new releases’ podcast. We chatted a lot and I decided I’d put one out myself.

"So, more discussion with James at MonoMusic, and a call to Anthony at God Don’t Like It and now the Independent Music Podcast is born! Showcasing some of the most interesting independent releases on sale this week as well as a handful of works in progress and unsigned artists… every week!"
