Slowly but surely Playgroup Festival is working its way up the crowded market of slightly off-the-wall festivals, where the party vibes and visual entertainment are just as important as the music. Alongside electronic and live acts - including the likes of Submotion Orchestra, DJ Format, The Herbaliser, High Rankin, Reso and Nedry - you will find anything from crazy caberet to vintage cinema to keep you entertained as you stumble around. To help you get into the party spirit you are encouraged to dress up fancily and this year's theme is that of Lost Toys, a homage to our youth. On the purchasing of your ticket, you will be allocated a character (robot, dinosaur, tin soldier, cowboy, ragdoll, monster under the bed, puppet or teddy bear) and are invited to participate in the site-wide games, parades and activities throughout the weekend.
