Video: Post Punks Oh Well Goodbye Return With New Single Insignificance

The second track issued by the band during lockdown, post punk outfit Oh Well Goodbye have released the visuals for new single Insignificance.

A swathe of gothic dreampop, the cut is steeped in the shadowy atmosphere of early New Order and the Cocteau Twins’ darker moments.

Gathering momentum over its five-minute running time, Insignificance builds from its opening reverbed arpeggios into one of the most strident tracks the band have issued.



Following the song’s appearance on Soundcloud last month, the outfit have debuted the visuals for the cut.

Backed with a clip that flits between colour and monochrome, the video vaguely suggests the mesmeric short film that accompanied Pink Floyd’s One of These Days.

Helmed by producer Andy Fernihough, Insignificance is released through cult indie labels Edils Records (Vee VV, Dignan Porch) through the company’s Bandcamp page.
