The Nice Weather For Airstrikes Festival 2012 Approaches
Bearded Magazine is proud to be supporting the Nice Weather For Airstrikes festival as it enters its fourth year as a free festival in Brighton.
May 25th-27th, at The Druid Arms in Brighton is where you need to be to divulge yourself in Britain's biggest free Post-Rock music festival, Nice Weather For Airstrikes 2012. Now entering its fourth year, the festival will be introducing an outdoor stage on the Saturday, along with food stalls, art installations, and DJs.
The opening evening, on the Friday, there will be 4 bands playing starting from 7:30pm followed by NWfA DJs until 2am. Saturday sees the debut of the outdoor stage with bands from 12- 7pm. Then the evenings events move back to the Druids Arms for four more bands and NWfA DJs. To finish off the weekend, Sunday's schedule will be in the Druids and start at 3pm with bands playing until 11pm. This will be a more relaxed, all day Acoustic and Avant-Garde affair.
Being part of the Brighton Fringe Festival, the music will not only cover Post-Rock but also dedicate time to Shoegaze, Math, Acoustic and Soundscape. The bands announced so far are:
