The Drums Announce Tour

The Drums make their big return to the UK in support of their second album Portamento. Previous intimate shows during the album release week are now sold out.

The Drums' vocalist Jonny Pierce describes the release as: "more personal this time around. Stylistically, things have evolved a bit, but the real change has been subject matter. On our first EP and album we used a lot if surrealism and really romanticized everything. Portamento is rooted in honesty.”

Portamento embarks on new explorations whilst retaining the finer aspects of the Drums. With more expansive production, a more personal lyrical tone and synthesised tones, the new album promises quite a lot.
