Video: Desperate Journalist Release Storming New Single Why Are You So Boring? North London post-punk quartet Desperate Journalist return with the video to cathartic new track Why Are You So Boring? the fourth single to be lifted from Grow Up, the band’s acclaimed second LP (review).

Backed by a video that combines live performances with backstage footage and Karaoke subtitling, the cut is a standout moment from the album, described by the group as 'A protest song about tossers'. A bracing two and a half minute rampage, lead singer Jo Bevan delivers a brilliantly vitriolic put-down of former acquaintances powered by Rob Hardy’s razorwire guitar lines and the strident rhythm section of bassist Simon Drowner and drummer Caz Hellbent.

With a tranche of Summer festival dates completed, the quartet head out on a clutch of dates in Autumn, including a homecoming show at Tufnell Park Dome, London in mid-October.
