Blushing Release Video To New Single The Truth

Superlative Austin, Texas dream pop outfit Blushing have unveiled the visuals to album previewing new single The Truth. Issued digitally and on 7” pink vinyl via Austin based label The Nothing Song Records, the track juxtaposes the band’s melodious shoegazing with grittier guitar textures.

Preparing the ground ahead of the band’s debut album, slated for release later this year, The Truth backed with new cut Sunshine was recorded, mixed and produced by Elliott Frazier of fellow Texans Ringo Deathstarr.

The video produced and directed by Kendall Chapman sees Michelle Soto (guitar/vocals) and Christina Carmona (vocals/bass) hanging around in a deserted amusements arcade, reminiscent of the second series of Stranger Things.

Formed in 2015, Blushing have made waves with two warmly praised EPs and live dates supporting luminaries including Sunflower Bean, Broncho and Snail Mail. The quartet have a raft of live dates including a second showcase performance at industry shindig SXSW next month plus a slot at annual shoegaze / dream pop festival Dream Gaze II (see below for details)
