Errors - New Relics (Rock Action)

Glaswegian art-rock trio Errors unfurl their mini-album New Relics, a scant eight months after the release of their third official full-length Have Some Faith In Magic. They've come a long way from the guitar-led post-electro of their roots, opting for a swarm of hunky synths and songs which are more like a rosé at a wine bar than a Jägerbomb in a cellar club. Everything's had a lot of time taken with it – there's more layers to explore, but the hooky urgency of previous albums seems to have fallen by the wayside. It's often elegant, frequently hypnotic but only occasionally brilliant.

    Vices - Hotel Monsoon

Born 'n' bred in the musical hotspot that is Reading, the now-London-based group recently dropped their EP Hotel Monsoon with a resounding boom. Winning vital support slots with Band Of Skulls and Everything Everything across Europe and the USA, the indie five-piece stumbled upon their first big break when Jeff Saltzman (producer of The Killers' Hot Fuzz and ex-manager of Green Day) spotted their electric sound in a dingy LA club, offering to record their first record The Wind I Walk Into. It's like a fairytale.

Featurecast feat. John Turrell – Ain’t My Style (Jalapeno)

Southampton DJ/Producer Lee Mintram, better known as Featurecast, piqued interest with his recent EP Around The Block from earlier in the year, and he's set to turn heads once again with his first single on Jalapeno, 'Ain't My Style'- featuring electric soul crooner John Turrell. Featurecast has been touring the globe with his unique union of break-funk, setting dancefloors alight with untameable chunks of French-style disco-dance resembling something from Ed Banger. His presence has been felt in far away lands such as Australia and Germany, where he's been receiving significant airtime- suffice it to say, Featurecast is hot stuff.

Moonlight Bride - Twin Lakes (self-release)

Since their stellar debut effort Myths released way back in the hazy October of '09, Moonlight Bride have remained fairly under the radar, working tirelessly on a plethora of follow-ups set to litter 2012. The buzz generated from Myths brought about a dedicated cult following, and that following is set to rapidly expand with the release of their first EP and first material in nearly three years, Twin Lakes.
