The Weekly Bearded Spotify Playlist

Our Spotify playlist is back and bigger than ever. Come hither for the tunes to get your weekend kickstarted...

Bearded Spotify Playlist This week we're starting off simple, chilled with a slice of lime, easy electronica from both 'hauntology' afficionado Belbury Poly and then producer Bonobo who introduces the vocals of soulstress Andreya Triana - new album Lost Where I Belong is due out on Ninja Tunes at the end of the month. Musical fake-out follows from Rinoa, lulling us into a false sense of security before baring knuckles and teeth. Toro Y Moi give us the hipster remix of The Longcut's 'Broken Hearts', there's brand new Matthew Dear and some single lovin' for the first release off the debut album from Lessons In Time.

Hand-picked by our editor - who's decided to go all blaxploitation Bollywood on us now - we have some classic Kishore Kumar (that one's for the heads...on and on til the break of dawn). Nottingham punkers Lovvers go head to head with Austin, Texas punkers Harlem who in turn get taken on by UUVVWWZ. It's a veritable mudfest by the time The Joy Formidable come along to straighten out the stragglers, none of whom stand a chance next to Crippled Black Phoenix. And then, before I run out of breath, we have just enough time for Sunbirds, a bit of Norwegian rock from Kvelertak and finally, to end things on a massive mescalin high, Jean Jacques Perry will play us a tune about chickens.

But enough of me. Come and get it!
