The music scene is really beginning to pick up pace now that 2011 is fully in and all the resolutions are out the window, with tours and festival line ups being announced, and a tremendous number of quality records being thrown at us, well, it's enough to bring a smile to the most melancholy of faces.

To get your Monday off on the right beat, we've thrown together some masterfull riffs from Thunderhorse and cheeky ones from Eagles Of Death Metal, some gentle swaying from Jack Hayter in the lead up to his new record, a bit of experimental ambience from Tim Hecker, and a bit of ghostly harrowings from LA Vampires & Zola Jesus.
